Prayer requests for March

PRAISE:
· Student leaders identified at Beacon High School and Boca Secondary

· Potential ISCF students identified at Grenada Boys Secondary, Anglican High School and Westerhall Secondary

· Opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus to help a family in their time of need

· Opportunity to minister to non-Christian students at Boca  Secondary

· Momentum started with CCCF meetings at TAMCC

· Ann’s desire to learn more about Jesus through Bible Study

· Good friends who support me and look out for me and include me in their lives

· New persons who have joined the Interim Committee

· Faithful prayer, financial and moral supporters


PRAYER:
· Teachers in schools where we have not yet started would see the value of the ministry and make the necessary adjustments to facilitate the starting of groups there

· Boldness for student leaders, especially those at Boca Secondary

· Newly established committees would be able to plan and execute meetings for the rest of the term

· Sponsors would take an active role in working with student committees

· Viable employment options for those who are struggling financially due to the economic hardship in Grenada

· Members of the Interim Committee would make fundraising a priority

· The scales would be removed from Nisha’s eyes so she would see the truth of God’s Word

· Wider representation of churches and supporters to commit to meet in prayer for the ministry

· Upcoming Student Launch of ISCF on Saturday 29th March

· Identification of individual who would take over duties of Grenada staffworker

January 2014 prayer requests

PRAISE:

  • Student from TAMCC (Mendel Samuel) who had questioned the authenticity of the Bible last year was present at the first CCCF meeting for this term! He has indicated his interest in attending on a regular basis
  •  Identification of potential student leaders at Beacon High School and Boca Secondary
  • Input and involvement of Cross Connect Ministries in planning for Link Up
  • Mr. Dottin’s commitment to supporting ISCF Grenada and sourcing government funding
  • New persons who attended Orientation session for potential Board members
  • New member of the Camps Committee – Arlene Marcelle
  • Principal of Happy Hill Secondary willing to identify teachers to run ISCF
  • Safety on the roads when windshield wiper stopped working during heavy rainfall

PRAYER:

  • Training of student leaders, that they would be equipped with tools necessary for planning and executing meetings
  •  Identification of student leaders at Anglican High School, Grenada Boys Secondary and Westerhall Secondary
  • Teachers would see the work of ISCF as a priority and be willing to dedicate time and energy towards getting groups started in their schools
  • Persons would honor the financial commitments made
  • Churches would be willing to partner with ISCF and give generously of their resources
  •  Young people who attend church would make a serious commitment of their lives to Christ and be prepared to live for Him
  • Persons who came to Board Orientation session would be able to commit the time needed to oversee the development of ISCF     Grenada
  • Nisha would continue to seek to develop her relationship with God
  • Identification of individual who would take over duties of Grenada staffworker

Prayer points - 8th December 2013

PRAISE:

  • Opportunity to demonstrate my faith in action by taking injured stranger to the hospital (see adropindeocean.blogspot.com for details)
  • Nine persons who attended the ISCF monthly prayer meeting in St. George's
  • Five persons who attend the ISCF monthly prayer meeting in St. Andrew's
  • New students who attend CCCF (Community College Christian Fellowship) meetings at T.A. Marryshow Community College (TAMCC)
  • Four persons who have agreed to form ISCF Camps Committee for Grenada
  • Person who made a voluntary financial contribution to the ministry
  • Good friendships being formed and sustained
PRAYER:
  • Committed individual to serve as full-time staffworker in Grenada
  • Wisdom and guidance for the Executive Committee at TAMCC as they have to plan for next term's activities
  • Meeting with Mendel Samuel, student from TAMCC who believes in evolution. Pray that his eyes would be open to see the truth
  • Success for Nisha in her exam on Thursday. She is a student at SGU, and Thursday is her last chance to pass the exam for this course
  • The Holy Spirit would start moving in the hearts and minds of the youths to prompt them to desire a deeper, more meaningful walk with God
  • Women would learn to seek value from God and trust Him to be their Provider
  • Men would stop exploiting women and children
  • Young people would value their bodies as temples of the Holy Spirit

PRAISE:

  • Provision so I can pay the balance outstanding on my car!
  • Enjoyable time spent connecting with family and friends at home
  • Students at the Community College Christian Fellowship (CCCF) reported having a great first meeting
  • Teachers who made themselves available to serve as sponsors
  • Opportunity to share in a one-on-one Bible Study
PRAYER:
  • Committed individual willing to serve as full-time staffworker in Grenada
  • Students who attend church would be willing to commit their lives to Christ and use ISCF as a tool to reach their friends for Christ
  • Removal of obstacles to the process of registering ISCF Grenada as an NGO
  • Persons would commit to support in prayer and finances

Prayer Points - 30th October 2013

PRAISE:

  • Being led to a car insurance company that offers superior benefits compared to the others which were being considered
  • Great partnerships being formed - Christian Student Association at St. George's University; Youth With A Mission, Cross Connect Ministries and individuals who are prepared to 'assist in whatever way I can'
  • Expansion of my network of friends in Grenada :)
  • Unwavering support from my friends in Trinidad
  • Graduate willing to co-ordinate activities in Grenville
  • Lime for youths from church was very well received, and included a challenge to them about honoring God with their lives
PRAYER:
  • Someone willing to serve as full-time worker in Grenada
  • Relaunch service on Saturday 2nd November - favorable weather, good attendance, impacting challenge
  • Persons who made financial commitments would honor these
  • Teachers would be enthusiastic about the work of ISCF and be prepared to sacrifice their time and energy to invest in students
  • Students who are Christians would start living as such

PRAISE:

  • Provision of my CSME certificate in time for my first official school visit
  • Involvement of students in IFES World Student Day of Prayer
  • Positive response by students to the idea of ISCF
  • Building the network of believers who will be supporting ISCF Grenada
  • Volunteer willing to co-ordinate prayer in St. George's
PRAYER:
  • Strategy for starting ISCF groups in the schools
  • Informal lime for youths from church would be uplifting yet enjoyable
  • Someone willing to serve as full-time staff worker in Grenada
  • Persons who made financial commitments would be faithful to their word
  • Teachers would be enthusiastic about the work of ISCF and be willing to dedicate time to it
  • Christian students would not be ashamed to identify with the group

  • Teachers and students would see the school as their mission field
